It might have escaped your notice with all the Manchester United and Chelsea shirts being around our town but Colchester has one of the most progressive football clubs in our country.

We have a new award-winning stadium, permission to build a state-of-the-art training facility and a team that has won 12 of the 15 home games they have played so far this season and who are competing for promotion to the Championship. So what's next?

Next season we expect to sell up to 6,000 season tickets and although these tickets will represent excellent value we want to give our fans even more and we want to help local businesses at the same time.

When fans purchase their next season ticket they are going to receive a book of vouchers giving them discounts from local businesses. For example, a local garage with a discount of 10% off a customers' next service. Our aim is to make the sum of these discounts greater than the cost of the season ticket and we invite you to participate.

Participation is free and the only cost to you will be the discount you are prepared to offer Colchester United fans buying your products or services.

By taking part and offering discounts you will gain exposure to all of our season ticket holders and club members. Your discounts will be supporting your local football team and our fans will be supporting local businesses.

We propose to gain maximum exposure to the local media and we are sure that we can drive extra business to companies that join.
